Liane and Matt, my Phnom Penh tour guides and welcome committee, have kindly sent me some CDs of photos they took while here. Below are 2 that I really like, both from their trip to one of the provinces with CARE. The first is a water purification project, which is beautifully simple - you put the water in plastic fizzy bottles, put them on a sheet of reflective metal, and all the nasties get cooked. Number 2 is the power storage facility for a house, with guard chicken. Question for the engineers -series or parallel?
